The food court is now opened. Launched today, 1st July 2009 during lunch time. The food court would be totally under Koperasi KMB and will be opened insya-Allah from 2 p.m - 11 p.m everyday.

Today, it is estimated that about 40% of the student tried the food and drinks. Most of them said it is worth it. It is also seen as a potential study and gathering place

With the new building in the college, let's have more fun and make full use of it...Njoy ur food!!!

this is what i managed to jot down or heard.forgot to do so from the start.=P.my bad. correct me if im wrong and add where im lacking.

The next KASUKMA (Karnival Sukan MARA) will be held in Sarawak.(tho not sure where n when)

Melbourne univ has moved up to MD (Doctor of Medicine) and no longer have MBBS(Bachelor of Medicine) which will take 7 years; 3 years of biomedical science and 4 years of medical(clinical work) cmpared to MBBS which takes 6 years; 4years theoretical and 2 years clinical. So the point is there is a possibility that some may not do MBBS. and the requirement is only a pass in IB subjects.=)


all juniors will be taking english HL. so they're gonna take 4 higher level subjects.
A test will be held during orientation to identify the weak ones so measures can be taken. Juniors, do your best in the exam. it will be slightly different from ours.(without literature part im sure n maybe slightly more difficult)


The coming juniors will consist of 40 newmed (Newcastle Medicine) students which will further their study in Newcastle University at Iskandar campus at Johor.
and there may also be offers of NewMed to the 08/10 batch(senior-to-be)


All year ones (the coming juniors) will be made compulsory to join a badan beruniform(yay=P) which can be chosen from a choice of 3: kadet polis , kadet bomba , JPAM
(at least u guys got choices)


Maybe we will have new treadmills in our gymnasium. Director is seriously considering buying a 'smart pool' which can fit 2 swimmers each. (the one where the water flows and the swimmers are static? XD)maybe 4 units of those which cost around rm50 000 each.

And you also may know that our next semester, right after registering back into out college, two day after that, MPI will begin!!! Well...
so much for the events. Now, what does the college have for us in the next semester?

• Curtains will be put up for classes without them and old curtains will be changed

• LT 1 and LT 2 will restart its renovation as the budget has been approved

• The new building is going to be a food court monitored by the co-operative

• The Dlink server is being kept monitored by En. Ghazali n recently reported to have difficulties due to cable problems

• The Academic Bureau, ACE wants the LRC to open on the weekends. For this to happen, they are suggesting the Resource Centre Bridget, a new student body incharge of the LRC.

So there we have it. The college is trying hard for us. N we should do the same for the college. Together we can make our 2 yrs of IB life a memorable one

The Next Sem...

the upcoming sem would start of with the re-orientation of us yr2...(well the tchrs call it reformatting the students). The thing is all bout having us to hear to lectures bout rules, ethics n motivations. 2 days overall n might consume our night activities on the Monday.


then MPI, Minggu Penghayatan Islam on the 17th June. Teaches us to have a better view on Islam. Handled mostly by Berkat n Tarbiyatul Muslimah but we as muslims n students should giv our committment n help as much as possible. Gonna do lots of practical n there's gonna b Kembara Kubur. Looking forward to it...


habis2 je MPI the new students are coming in. xpctd to b around 450 students but as they say, do estimate bout 20% of the students are gonna reject it. So in the end will leave bout 350 gk. The orientation gonna take the whole week with the MPP n IP involved in this thing. Their activities are pretty much the same as last years. Can't wait for the jr's to come in, been a long time since i last had a jr :P

hmm...
then there's the Sambutan Bulan Kemerdekaan, planned to b on the 7-9 August. We are gonna b the host. So it is better for us to have ourselves ready for the big event. Got to get the college look fascinating and for preparation, do not bring much stuffs to the college as students from other colleges are going to use our rooms. Which room, haven't been discussed yet...


Sports Carnival is in the plan. Wish we could make it a bigger hit than last yr. Targetting to get evryone involved and every student get to know each other while contributing to their respective houses.
